He edited four bestselling textbooks in oculoplastic surgery, authored over 40 book chapters, and, for the past 25 years, has directed a cadaver workshop at Saint Louis University for international physicians. He has treated 7,000 patients, overseen 1000 sight-restoring cataract surgeries, performed hundreds of complex oculoplastic procedures, and distributed thousands of free eyeglasses and medications.
