Mumtaz KaratasMumtaz Karatas graduated from the Turkish Naval Academy in 2001. He received his MS degree in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan and his PhD in Industrial Engineering from Kocaeli University, Turkey. He spent two yers at the Naval Postgraduate School as a visiting researcher and postdoctoral fellow between 2011 and 2013. He is currently an Associate Professor in the Industrial Engineering Department at the Turkish Naval Academy, National Defense University.
