MwayaBrenda Amanda Mwaya is originally from Malawi and she lives in the city of Philadelphia. In 2023, she became a citizen of the United States of America. Mwaya has published her autobiographical book, "An illegal Immigrant's Journey: How America BecameMy Destiny," in 2019. Her first Children's book, "If You Are A Kid Straight Out Of Philly," was published that same year. She went on to publish more children's books, including "Mother, I Don't See Things Like You Do!", "Gogi, Which Shade Of Skin Color Is The Best?," "Sometimes I Toot!," and "Mr. Man From Next Door." She is also an inventor and a designer of the patented feature on bags for dog walkers called the "Poochpoopouch." Mwaya loves cooking on her YouTube channel, "BrendasFood."
