N S PatrickMr. Patrick was born in Michigan's Upper Peninsula and is, therefore, a true Yooper. After attending Albion College, Albion, Michigan, he decided the best way to see the world was as a guest of Uncle Sam and joined the Navy. He served as an officer aoard ship during the Cuban Missile Crisis in 1962 and Vietnam 1968-69. Realizing that mines blowing up beside the ship and bullets flying about was unhealthy, he bowed out of service to join the corporate world working in sales and teaching business applications on computers. He founded a travel agency and continued to travel the world until retirement. He resides in Kenner, LA, and is restoring a modified two-story Georgian Colonial while pursuing his love of reading and writing. Read More Read Less
