Nadia E NedzelNadia E. Nedzel is the Reilly Family Professor of Law at Southern University Law Center. She specializes in commercial law and has taught Louisiana Law of Sale and Lease, as well as Louisiana Obligations, Common Law Contracts, and International Businss Law since 2004. She has taught Comparative Contract Law as a Fulbright Specialist in Chile, lectured on Legal Reasoning and Writing around the world, was a Visiting Scholar at Cambridge University, U.K., and most recently taught corporate governance to Chinese Students at the United Nation's Institute in Turin Italy. Her first book, Legal Reasoning, Research, and Writing for International Graduate Students, now in its fifth edition, is widely used in LL.M. programs both in the U.S. and abroad, but her most recent scholarly works focus on a multidisciplinary, comparative study of the Rule of Law. She serves on the Louisiana State Law Institute as well as the Louisiana Bar's Equivalency Committee. She speaks French (fluently), Spanish (conversational), and Russian (some) as well as English, and her works have been translated into both Chinese and Russian. Read More Read Less
