Naina Athale

Naina Athale holds a Master's degree in Medical and Psychiatric Social Work, and is currently Assistant Professor, Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. She is also a child counsellor and a consultant with several schools for conductin training programmes and workshops for teachers and parents. She has been an active volunteer with the Navi Mumbai branch of the Stree Mukti Sanghatana, a women's rights organization. She also specializes in play therapy for children, and has organized many interactive workshops for children on various aspects of their growth. She is also a member of the managing committee of 'In Defense of Animals, India'.
