She's married to a wonderful man named Chris and they have two very nice adult children and one very spoiled rescue cat. She was a teacher for thirty years. Now, recenty retired, she devotes most of her time to writing. Her first book, a humorous memoir, is called The Ultimate Cat: A Baby-Boomer's Guide to Retirement.
