Narayan HulseDr. Narayan Hulse is a senior joint replacement surgeon, author, surgical trainer, researcher, and review editor of orthopaedic journals. He is currently the director of orthopaedic surgery at Fortis Hospital, Bengaluru, India. He specialises in join replacement surgery, arthroscopy, and pelvic-acetabular trauma. He has a vast surgical experience covering the entire spectrum of orthopaedics by virtue of his training and clinical work in well-known hospitals situated in three continents. He completed his primary medical training from Bangalore Medical College and his post graduate training from Madras Medical College winning gold medals awarded to the best out-going orthopaedic trainee in the state and the university. He later underwent higher surgical training from the West of Scotland Deanery (UK). He obtained MRCS (General Surgery) and FRCS (Trauma & Orth) from The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh and MCh (Orth) from The University of Liverpool. He did his fellowship training in joint replacement surgery from St. Michael's University Hospital, Toronto and pelvic acetabular trauma from St. George's Hospital, London. He has conducted several training courses in joint replacement surgery. He runs a fellowship program to train orthopaedic surgeons.
