Nathalie BaratoffBorn in Greece of Russian parents, Nathalie Baratoff grew up in the USA, returning to Europe in the early 1970's. She studied Russian literature at Brown University and later continued in the Slavic Department of the University of Zurich. There she wote her thesis on pagan motifs in the novels of Nikolai Leskov. Thereafter, she trained at the C.G. Jung Institute Zurich, graduating in 1987. Her thesis, published in 1990, was a Jungian interpretation of the Russian novel, Oblomov. As a member of the Association of Graduates in Analytical Psychology (AGAP), she was among the co-founders in 2004 of AGAP's International School of Analytical Psychology Zurich (ISAPZurich). Here she served for 10 years as Program Director; she is likewise a training analyst and supervisor, with private practice in Zürich.
