Neil F HadleyAs stated in the "Overview," Neil F. Hadley is an 81 year old retired professor who currently lives in Wilmington, NC. Upon receiving his Ph.D. from the University of Colorado in 1963, he joined the biology faculty at Arizona State University where dring the next 30 years he taught and conducted research on how organisms adapt to their environment, the latter published in numerous journal articles and three books. In 1995, he was appointed Dean of the Graduate School and Vice President for Research at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. During his tenure, there was a significant growth in the number and diversity of graduate programs, plus major increases in the university's research funding.
