Neka PerkinsNeka Perkins was born and raised in Longs, South Carolina, which is a small town right outside of the infamous Myrtle Beach area. After losing her first born, Trinity, in May 2012 she wanted to keep her daughter's memory alive. Writing children's boos was a way for her to cope with the loss many years later. Faith, her now 6 year old daughter, is her co-author because although Faith is young, she is very much in alignment with keeping her sister's memory alive as well. Although the two never met, they have a spiritual connection. Neka has an undergraduate degree from Old Dominion University in Business Administration (Management) and a Masters degree in Human Resources Management along with a Certification in Government Contracting from Troy University.
