Nelson R SmithNelson R. Smith is a fiction writer and a student at the University of North Carolina Wilmington with the goal of receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Creative Writing. He comes from a city called Jacksonville, North Carolina, where he grew up most o his life. Whenever Nelson is not devising a grand new writing project in peaceful solitude at his apartment, he spends most of his time drawing, listening to rock, biking around his college campus, hanging out with friends, and drowning in schoolwork and energy drinks. A horror movie and comedy fanatic, he usually spends what little energy he has after classes on the best old movies and TV shows ever written in the 80s and 90s, as well as his favorite Joe Rogan podcast. He has been a cat lover as a child and still does, as their eccentric and seemingly distant behavior fits his personality. A proud neurodivergent author with high-functioning autism, Nelson aims to get his voice out into the world while challenging himself to tackle current social issues pertaining to identities different from his, all to make the world a better place.
