Neva J HodgesAfter her father set the example, Neva made the leap from wanting to write to doing it. At age seventy-nine, he handwrote his memoir on legal paper. Neva, as well as putting pen to paper, joined a critique group, took classes and became a member of te California Writers Club. Neva loves to travel and is intrigued by different languages and cultures. She lived in Jerusalem, Israel for three years. She drew from some of her experiences there in her novel Against the Wall. Neva's poetry, essays, and short stories have been published in anthologies and magazines. She writes from her home in the San Francisco Bay area where she lives with her husband.
