Nicholas KenyonNicholas Kenyon has been Director of the BBC Proms since 1996. He was a music critic for the New Yorker, The Times and the Observer, and was Controller, BBC Radio 3, from 1992 to 1998, responsible for the award-winning Radio 3 seasons 'Fairest Isle' nd 'Sounding the Century'. He wrote the history of the BBC Symphony Orchestra and edited the influential volume Authenticity and Early Music.
