Nicholas Mosley
Nicholas Mosley was born in London in 1923 and educated at Eton and Oxford. He served in Italy during World War Two and published his first novel, Spaces of the Dark, in 1951. His novels Accident and Impossibe Object were both turned into films, the former with a screenplay by Harold Pinter. He is also the author of several works of nonfiction, most notably the autobiography Efforts at Truth and a two-part biography of his father, Sir Oswald Mosley, entitled Rules of the Game and Beyond the Pale. His Whitbread Award-winning novel Hopeful Monsters is also published by Dalkey Archive Press.
