Nick Caistor’s translations include works by Eduardo Mendoza, Juan Marsé and Isabel Allende. He has contributed to the Guardian and the TLS and was for many years Latin America editor for the BBC World Service. His tranlation of Mendoza’s An Englishman in Madrid won the Prix du Livre Européen.
