Nitesh KumarDr. Nitesh Kumar, M Pharm, PhD is an Assistant Professor from the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Hajipur. Dr. Kumar has published 90 peer reviewed journal articles (total citatons – 995 and H-index – 19) and 2 book chapters. He delivered talks and oral presentations at several scientific conferences and received awards for his research contributions. Dr. Kumar has more than 10 years of teaching and research experience and currently guiding and co-guiding 12 PhD students on their thesis work. His research work includes biocompatibility and toxicological evaluation of various drug molecules and biomedical devices namely dialysis catridges, tooth implant and electrical stimulator for glioma treatment. His other research areas are neuroprotection, hepatoprotection and neuropharmacological studies of synthesized and herbal compounds.
