Oana Befort

Oana Befort is a Romanian-born graphic artist, freelance illustrator, wife and mother of two based in the Midwest. Her mixed media illustrations are inspired by the natural world, her love of flora and fauna, folk motifs, nostalgia, sunlight and eeryday life. When not drawing away, she can likely be found playing with her two young children, cooking homemade meals, walking through botanical gardens or art museums scavenging for new inspirations, going through the book sections of antique stores or caring for her plants.

Befort has contributed illustrations to the Magical Unicorn Society books.
