Om Prakash YadavOm Prakash Yadav received the B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from the Malaviya National Institute of Technology, Jaipur, India, the M.S. degree in industrial engineering from the National Institute of Industrial Engineering, Mumbai, India, andthe Ph.D. degree in industrial engineering from Wayne State University, Detroit, MI, USA, in 1987, 1992, and 2002 respectively. He is currently a Professor and a Duin Endowed Fellow with the Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering, North Dakota State University, Fargo, ND, USA. Dr. Yadav has served as department chair for three years and also is a founding Director of Center for Quality, Reliability and Maintainability Engineering, which is supported by local member companies. The research work of his group has been published in Reliability Engineering and Systems Safety, Journal of Risk and Reliability, Quality and Reliability Engineering International, International Journal of Production Research, Engineering Management Journal, and IEEE Transaction of Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Systems. He has authored/coauthored more than 150 research papers in the area of reliability, risk assessment, design optimization, and operations management. His research interests include reliability modeling and analysis, risk assessment, design optimization and robust design, and manufacturing systems analysis. Dr. Yadav is currently serving as an Editor-in-Chief for the International Journal of Reliability and Safety and on the Editorial Board of several international journals.
