Otaro MaijoOtaro Maijo (1973– ) is a novelist from Fukui, where most of his stories take place. He debuted with his mystery novel Kemuri ka tsuchi ka kuimono (Smoke, Soil, or Food), with which he won the Mephisto Prize.
