Pankajavalli has received merit certificate for topping the list of candidates in Database Management Systems during her Post Graduation at Vellalar College for Women, Bharathiar University. She was an Assistant Professor, Department of Compute Science from 2003 to 2013 in Kongu Arts and Science College, Erode. She served as Assistant professor (SG) in PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore till 2015. Now she is as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science, Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. She is actively doing projects from DST and has filed an Indian patent. She is very active in research and has published more than 100 papers in International Journals, International Conference and has edited research volumes. She has supervised 8 MPhils and 40 postgraduates. She is also a member of Board of Studies in PSG College of Technology, Affiliated colleges of Periyar University and Bharathiar University.
