P. Mehta P. Kumar Mehta (Berkeley, CA) is a Professor Emeritus in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of California at Berkeley. Before his retirement, he held the Roy W. Carlson Distinguished Professorship. His educational background inludes an undergraduate degree in chemical engineering from Delhi (India), M.S. in ceramic engineering from North Carolina State University and Doctor of Engineering in material science and engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
