Patricia A. McCormackDr. Patricia A. McCormack is the Chair and Curator of Ethnology, Provincial Museum of Alberta. She first went to Fort Chipewyan in 1968, and for the past 21 years she has visited the community and undertaken ethnohistoric studies of the region. Her h.D. thesis focused on the transformation of land uses and impacts on Native residents as Canadian and provincial governments expanded their regulatory activities in the region.
