Patti Baraks

Patti Baraks is an early childhood education teacher with a passion for poetry and children's literature. She grew up near the shores of Lake Superior and has long been inspired by the majesty and beauty of the Great Lake. She currently resides inTexas with her husband, Chris, and their three children. Her internal compass points north, and she enjoys spending summers with her family at their cabin near Lake Superior's South Shore. When she's not writing, you'll often find her hunting for agates, bird-watching, or exploring the many hidden gems Lake Superior offers. As a children's book author, Patti hopes to inspire children and their caregivers to connect with nature through reading.
