Pauline OudPauline Oud was born in Hilversum, The Netherlands, in 1963. After graduating art school in 1985, she began working as an artist and art teacher before returning to her first love: children's books. Pauline likes to start her days with an hour-long rn to clear her head and think about her drawings. When she's out of inspiration, she browses through her own children's book collection. She also likes to visit the Museum of Medieval Art to stare at 700+ year-old illustrations. Pauline currently lives in Utrecht, The Netherlands with her husband.
