Peter Bassett Peter Bassett was Dramaturg and Artistic Administrator for the 2004 Adelaide Ring. His writings on Wagner have included A Ring for the Millennium (1998, translated into Finnish 1999), The Nibelung's Ring (2003, reprinted 2004), ichard Wagner's Tristan und Isolde (2006), and Wagner's Parsifal (2008). He has lectured on Wagner's works in Australia and abroad, compiles and edits opera programs, and is a regular contributor to Wagnerian journals.
