Peter LoughranPeter Loughran is an award-winning author whose previous works have been translated into multiple languages. He spent his childhood playing in bombed-out Liverpool, with American soldiers everywhere and the occasional P51 Mustang being towed through he streets. As an adult, his interest in WW2 became a passion, and a lifelong research project. Peter has worked at almost every imaginable job, from 'timber-skin' docker, to an archaeological digger, from laboratory assistant to roofer. He lived for a time on Caldy Island where he worked alongside the monks in the garden and in the fields at harvest time.
