Phelicia E LangPhelicia Lang is a California native, educator, author, speaker, and publisher with over twenty-five years of experience supporting young learners. She holds a Master's degree in Reading Leadership with a focus on Multicultural Literature and has wored across private, charter, and public school settings.As a wife, mother of four, and grandmother, Phelicia understands firsthand the power of early literacy. One of her greatest joys was teaching her own children to read during their homeschool years-an experience that deepened her belief that children learn in different ways and deserve instruction and stories that honor who they are.Phelicia has devoted much of her career to early childhood education, particularly kindergarten, where she has created and led impactful literacy initiatives, including a Summer Kindergarten Intervention Program for African American children. She continues her advocacy by partnering with various agencies focused on early literacy.
