Phil SchleicherPhil was born in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, and raised in a small town called Ripon. While in Ripon, Phil played in many garage bands. Right after high school Phil wanted to do his civic duty and joined the United States Air Force. It was in the militar that Phil learned the art of contemporary Travis picking.
