In retirement he has written award winning screenplays on legal - historical subjects and co-produced the short film Extradition (224). A passionate student of history, Philip has also presented lectures on historical subjects to various historical and cultural societies and his work has been endorsed by the Osgoode Society for Canadian Legal History.
