Pierre A. ChiapporiPierre-André Chiappori is the E. Rowan and Barbara Steinschneider Professor of Economics at Columbia University (New York). His areas of research include the economics of the family and the economics of risk and insurance. He has authored or co-authoed several books and more than 150 articles published in international journals. He is a Fellow of the Econometric Society, the European Economic Association, the Society of Labor Economists, the Society for the Advancement of Economic Theory and the Institut Bachelier.
