Pierre JourdeOlivier Bessard-Banquy is a professor at Bordeaux-Montaigne University, specialising in contemporary literature and publishing. Co-author of L'Edition francaise depuis 1945 (Paris, 1998) andGallimard, un siecle d'edition (Paris, 2011), he has published Sexe et litterature aujourd'hui (Paris, 2010) and L'Industrie des lettres (Paris, 2012). Pierre Jourde is a professor at Stendhal - Grenoble 3 University, a novelist, and a literary critic. He is the author of numerous works on nineteenth and twentieth-century literature.
