Poornachandra TejaswiK.P. POORNACHANDRA TEJASWI (1938-2007) was one of the finest writers in Kannada. He used to say that the life of Shivaram Karanth, the art of Kuvempu and the philosophy of Lohia were the pointers to his writing. Though he started as a writer in the Nvya (modern) tradition, he chose to chart a distinct path ofhis own. He was also an accomplished photographer and translator. He authored five novels, two novellas, seven collections of short stories in addition to works on science, travel, adventure and criticism. His Annana Nenapu is a biography of his father, the celebrated writer Rashtrakavi Kuvempu.
