Pradeep Kumar Jain

Mr. Pradeep Kumar Jain is a Partner at Singhania & Co, a leading full service Indian law firm established in 1969. Mr. Jain has extensive expertise in the areas of mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate laws, maritime laws, finanial restructuring laws, infrastructure & project finance and real estate laws. After joining the Firm in 2002, Mr. Jain was shortly promoted to partnership in 2004. He currently heads six of the Firms offices in India.

Mr. Jain frequently advises clients on matters relating to the development and control regulations, policy and regulatory matters, compliances relating to SEBI/RBI/ IRDA/FIPB etc. He is vastly renowned for his acumen in interacting with the Foreign Investors Promotion Board (FIPB) / Secretariat for Industrial Assistance (SIA) in the matters related to Transfer of Shares from Resident to Non-resident, foreign technical collaboration, interacting with the Securities Exchange Board of India (SEBI) filing various forms or Reports in matters related to Takeovers, Mutual Funds, Asset Management Companies, Trusteeship, Custodian, Foreign Institutional Investors etc.

Often described as a polymath by his colleagues, Mr. Jain is an academic with various qualifications. After finishing a Bachelor's degree in Science he went on to pursue a Master's degree in Mathematics before applying for a Bachelor's degree in Law. Today, Mr. Jain is not only a qualified Advocate and a member of the Bar Council of India, but also an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Securities & Investments. He is also a qualified Company Secretary and a fellow member of the Indian Institute of Company Secretaries of India.

An avid learner himself, Mr. Jain follows his passion for academics by delivering guest lectures and sharing his thoughts and views on legal issues through articles in various Indian and International publications.
