Prashant Das, Ph.D. teaches Master′s and Bachelor′s level courses in real estate finance and investment. His research interests include REITs, commercial real estate (hotels, apartments and office in particular), Google searches and sustainability. He has a special interest in real estate markets in India. His papers are published in such journals as the Journal of Real Estate Finance and Economics, Journal of Real Estate Research, International Journal of Hospitality Management and Journal of Property Research among others. Also, Prashant recently authored a book on Real Estate Finance in India for SAGE publications.

Prashant has been invited to speak on real estate topics by Doordarshan (National TV channel of India); the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI); and institutions such as Beijing Hospitality Institute (BHI), China; Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bangalore and Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee.

Earlier, he worked on managerial and engineering roles with multinationals in India and took up short term engagements with reputed real estate firms in the US. He has earned four best paper awards at international levels and a teaching excellence award in Atlanta.
