Presleith Yvette McPheePresleith Yvette McPhee, MBA, ITIL, PMP(R) hails from a historic Bahamian family whose maternal heritage and lineage are traced for eight generations from an official and an Irish wife who traveled with his family from England and Ireland during the 7th century to make the Bahama their home and to assist with the development of Nassau, The Bahamas. A fifth-generation Seventh-Day Adventist whose greatgreat-grandparent's William C Antonio and Mary C Griffith-Antonio pioneer the first Sabbath-keeping group in the Bahamas from their homestead at West Hill Street and Hospital Lane. Ms. McPhee's great-grandmother, Mrs. Evangeline Antonio-Wood Holmes, and great-great grandmother Marcy C Griffith-Antonio, were the principal contributors to the denomination during the 19th century. They traveled throughout the width and breadth of Nassau, and some of the Family Islands in the Commonwealth of the Bahamas in their quest to establish the Sabbath-keeping Denomination in the Bahamas. It was not an easy task, but for 14 years, the parents of Mrs. Evangline Antonio-Wood Holmes ( William & Mary Antonio) utilized personalized funds and professional acumen to ensure that the importance of Sabbath (Saturday) was saturated in the Bahamian culture during the 19th century. Today in the Commonwealth of the Bahamas, The Seventh-day Adventist Church is the fourth largest denomination with over 20,000 members. Read More Read Less
