Qiao Wang
Dr. Qiao Wang is an associate professor in the School of Resources and Environmental Engineering at Hefei University of Technology, China. Her research focuses on environmental geotechnics, PFAS contamination, contaminant transport, landfill enginering, and geosynthetic barrier systems. She has led several nationally funded projects on the transport and fate of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in landfill cover systems and unsaturated soils. Her work integrates laboratory experimentation, molecular dynamics simulation, and transport modelling to investigate the behaviour of emerging contaminants in environmental barriers. Dr. Wang has published more than 50 peer-reviewed papers in the leading journals of environmental engineering and geotechnics.
