R L ClaytonWith a mechanical engineering degree, Clayton embarked on a forty-year career encompassing work in computer hardware design, commercial product design, maintenance in a large mining operation, marketing sales and service of mining equipment, and the esign and building of an aquaculture operation producing nutritional supplements and oil from algae. He started writing short stories and poetry in high school, but his retirement from engineering began his true writing career. He has lived most of his life in the American Southwest, calling Arizona home for the last sixty-five-years. In addition to writing, he enjoys cooking and firearms (shooting mostly dirt). His creative efforts are apparent in his engineering and writing. As an engineer, he incorporates tech into his stories, much from his imagination, but subsequent study shows many ideas were already real or in design. He describes his writing as the equivalent of reading a good book. The stories flow, next page yet to be written. Read More Read Less
