R M KinderR. M. Kinder, aka B.A.L. McMillan, is a Missouri writer publishing through both traditional and indie presses. Her fiction spans realism and fantasy in different genres. She is the author of five novels, three collections of short stories, and a dualmedia biography of a Missouri fiddler. Her short story collections have received the Willa Cather Award by Helicon Nine Press; the University of Michigan Award for Literary Fiction; and the University of Notre Dame Creative Writing Program's Richard Sullivan Award.
