R VasanthagopalDr. R. Vasanthagopal is presently Professor and Director of the School of Distance Education, University of Kerala, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. He received his Master of Commerce in Finance from the University of Kerala in 1991. Subsequently, he receved his M.Phil. and Ph.D. degrees from the same university in 1993 and 1998 respectively. He joined the University of Kerala as a full professor in 2013. He is an enthusiastic researcher in the areas of commerce, management, finance and human resources management. Dr. Vasanthagopal has supervised the works of 25 Ph.D. and 12 M.Phil. scholars. He has completed four major research projects sponsored by the University Grants Commission (UGC), New Delhi and Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), New Delhi. He has published a large number of research articles in national and international journals of repute.
