R W DoyenR W Doyen grew up on a small farm outside of Mexico, Maine. Surrounded by miles of forest land, lakes rivers, and streams. He spent much of his youth hunting, fishing and trapping. All of it in the company of his father. Following graduation from theUniversity of Maine, he attended the Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine, and after twenty-five years of practice, he gave up medicine, relocated to NC, and started a new business constructing sea walls. At the age of sixty-two, he retired and embarked on a new adventure- writing stories based on his own experiences. His life as a boy never left his mind.
