R.C.V. MacarioRaymond Charles Vincent Macario studied radio physics at King's College, London, where his studies of complex radio waves propagating in very varied conditions - using a unique contiguous spectrum analyser - stood him in good stead in the embryonic mbile radio industry. He spent several years in industry designing radiofrequency and other circuits before accepting a lectureship post in communications in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Wales, Swansea. There he has had the opportunity to manage a hundred or more undergraduate and postgraduate projects in the radio business.
