Radha Kumar
Radha Kumar is a specialist on gender, conflict, and public policy. A former Director General of the Delhi Policy Group, she was part of the Government’s Group of Interlocutors for Jammu and Kashmir in 2010–11, headed the Mandela enter for Peace at Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi, and was Senior Fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations in New York. Her books include Peacemaking in Deeply Divided Societies (SAGE, 2009), Making Peace with Partition (2006), Bosnia in the Annals of Partition (1997), and A History of Doing: Women’s Movements in India (1993). She has also co-authored, with Amitabh Kundu and Tanweer Fazal, Rurbanization in India: A Study of Kerala and Madhya Pradesh (2016). She is currently on the boards of the United Nations University in Tokyo and the Stockholm International Peace Research Institute.
