Rama V Baru

Rama V Baru is an Associate Professor at the Centre of Social Medicine and Community Health at the Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Her principal areas of research are privatization of health care, health policy, comparative studies n health systems and health sector reforms. She has published widely in these areas and also authored Private Health Care in India: Social Characteristics and Trends (Sage Publications, 1998). She is on the editorial board of the Global Social Policy published by Sage Publications and on various committees of national and international organizations.
