Raphael Tavares De AlencarRaphael Tavares de Alencar was born in Recife, Brazil, in 1988. He obtained his Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering Degree (Majors in Telecommunications and Power Systems), from the Federal University of Campina Grande, in 2012, and his Master' Degree in Electrical Engineering (Telecommunications) from the Federal University of Campina Grande, in ́ 2014. He also got involved in an international exchange program at the Ecole Nationale Supe ́rieure des Syste ́mes Avance ́s et Re ́seaux, (ESISAR), Valence, France, from 2010 to 2011. He worked as a consulting engineer in a project for Alpargatas (man- ufacturer and distributor of Havaianas sandals in the country), and his main activities included development, manufacture, installation, and testing of a security system to protect mill operators. The main tasks involved electronic and mechanical designs, image processing, sensors, and radiofre- quency systems testing. He also worked at the Laboratoire de Conception et d'Inte ́gration des Syste`mes (LCIS), in the development and manufacture of a chipless RFID reader. He was a researcher in a Project funded by RNP (National Research Network): "[CIA]2 - Building Intelligent Cities: from Environmental Instru- mentation to Application Development", developed at the Institute of Advanced Communications Studies (Iecom).
