Rebecca Lucy Taylor

As Self Esteem, Rebecca Taylor has given voice to the feelings of insecurity and misogyny-induced frustration whilst emboldening a whole new audience with powerful, truth-telling lyricism.

Her second solo album, Prioritise Pleasure,received a raft of award nominations including the Mercury Prize, NME and BRIT Awards, and was crowned the Guardian and Sunday Times Culture's Album of the Year.

Her latest album, A Complicated Woman (Polydor, 2025) charted at #5 in the UK and was presented on stage by Taylor and director Tom Scutt in a sell-out limited run at the Duke of York Theatre, to critical acclaim. Rebecca went on to receive the Visionary Award at the 2025 Ivor Novello Awards for her 'fearless, genre-defying songwriting that is reshaping the sound and substance of modern pop'.

Her first book, also titled A Complicated Woman, will be released in October 2025.
