Reinhard R Brunkhorst

Prof. Dr. med. Reinhard Brunkhorst is the Senior physician at the KfH Nierenzentrum Hannover-List; trained as a physician in internal medicine/nephrology/intensive care medicine/hypertension and habilitation at the Hannover Medical School. rom 1999 to 2020, he was chief physician of the Clinic for Nephrology, Angiology, and Rheumatology at the KRH Klinikum Siloah-Oststadt-Heidehaus as well as the clinics for Internal Medicine at KRH Klinikum Lehrte and KRH Klinikum Nordstadt, Hannover. He served as President of the German Society of Nephrology (DGfN) from 2008 to 2013 and was awarded the Franz Volhard Medal by the DGfN in 2019.
