Reken Ruth VanRuth Van Reken is an adult Third Culture Kid or TCK - a child who spends a significant period of time during his or her developmental years growing up in a culture outside the parents' culture - and for nearly thirty years has traveled extensively spaking and consulting about issues related to global family living. Ruth coined the term, Cross-Cultural Kids (CCKs) and is co-founder and past chair of the annual Families in Global Transition conference.
