Rich LeonardRich Leonard grew up in Welcome, North Carolina, and spent much of his childhood on his grandparents' dairy farm in Davie County. It remains his favorite place. He was a Morehead Scholar at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, graduated fom Yale Law School, and spent more than two decades as a federal bankruptcy judge in eastern North Carolina.
