During his life, he faced much turmoil and pain, but it was Jesus's redemption that ultimately gave him peace. Richard met his life-long love Carolyn, in high school, and heremains steadfast by her side to this day. The Marines drafted him into service where he met with new adventures and challenges. Later, Carolyn and Richard would bring two daughters into the world, both full of great joy and love.
